The CCTC singles ladder welcomes players of any gender or skill level. Although it is competitive in the sense that winning players move up and losing players move down, the primary goal is to have fun and everyone is expected to behave in a friendly way. It is a great way to get some exercise, compete against different game styles, and meet new players!
The ladder is open to any CCTC members. CCTC membership is free and there is no commitment to participate in any other CCTC events. The cost to join the ladder is $10 for each six-month session. By registering, you agree to share your contact information with other players in the ladder, but it will not be posted publicly.
The winter ladder will start on Nov 1st, 2023, and there will be a new draw each month through to the end of Apr 2024. After registering you will be added at the beginning of the next month. The Apr 30th, 2024 date on the listing is the last date for the cycle.
The web site displays April 30th, 2024 as the date for the ladder because our web site software expects events to start and end on the same day. That is the last date for the session but the ladder actually runs for six months.
How it works
Register here and pay online. The fee is $10 for one complete session (May to October for the summer ladder or November to April for the winter ladder).
At the link below, select "Join" in the upper right corner:

The ladder can be accessed through your web browser or using the itennisladder app.
-You can challenge any player up to 3 spots above or below you. Arrange matches based on your own schedule and at a location of your convenience.
-Note that declining or failing to respond to a challenge counts as a loss. For that reason, please be flexible when issuing a challenge so that players do not decline because they are not available at a specific time.
-We hope that players will to attempt to play 2 or 3 matches each month.
-You should agree on who will supply the balls. The usual arrangement is that both players bring a set of three new balls, and the winner keeps the unused set.
-After a match you enter the scores into the system, and how much you move up will depend on whether you won or lost. We will continue to add new players as they register, and we can adjust your ranking if you find you have been placed too high or too low.
Best of three sets is recommended; however, if time is limited, players may agree on any other way to determine a winner.
You are able to drop out (due to injury, vacation, or for any other reason) at any time by sending an email to the administrators. You can rejoin later in the session without having to register and pay again.
